Your clients get their own area with every document, and each invoice can be exported as an e-invoice – with no monthly fee and no limit on clients, quotes or invoices.

What you get
- Clients and contacts: companies and people, addresses printed the way each country writes them, tax numbers, tags and notes, a CSV import from Excel or your old tool, and a CSV export
- A catalogue of your products and services, with units, prices and tax rates
- Quotes: lines from the catalogue, sections, options the client may add, discounts, a tax rate per line, prices before tax or tax included, a deposit, and a PDF in the client’s language
- Online acceptance: your client opens a link, ticks the options and signs with the finger or the mouse; the date, the IP address and a fingerprint of what was signed are kept
- Invoices from a signed quote in one click: the deposit invoice, then the final invoice less the deposit – or an invoice written from scratch
- Issued invoices stay as they were: corrections and cancellations go through credit notes, and numbers follow each other with no gap
- Payments: record transfers, cards, cash or checks, see what is partly paid, paid or overdue, and let clients pay online by card (Stripe) or PayPal with your own accounts

What you need
- PHP 8.3 or later with the usual extensions (PDO, mbstring, openssl, curl, fileinfo, zip; gd and intl recommended)
- A MySQL or MariaDB database, or SQLite (no database server needed)
- Any host that runs PHP, shared hosting included; a cron job every minute, or a web cron calling a secret address
- For emails: the SMTP details of a mailbox (most hosts include one). For online payments: your own Stripe or PayPal account (optional)
Upload the files, open the address in your browser and the installer checks the server, creates the database tables and your owner account in a few minutes. A step-by-step guide is in the download and in the online documentation.
About e-invoicing: Clientlane makes the files in the European standard; it does not send them to a government or approved platform. Where e-invoicing is required, you send them through the platform your country asks for. The rules for quotes and invoices differ from country to country: check with your accountant what yours must show.
Licences
Standard covers one domain. Agency covers up to ten domains, for your own sites or your clients’. Both include 12 months of updates and support; after that Clientlane keeps working, and you renew only if you want new versions and support. Updates install in one click from the admin. There is never a fee per client, per invoice or per user, and your data never leaves your server.
